A self-described nerd, Michael worked for technology manufacturers from a variety of industries for thirty-five years. Michael earned an undergraduate degree in business management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2001. Born in Iowa, he has also lived in Illinois, Minnesota, and Texas. He has settled in his favorite, living along the southwest Gulf Coast in Florida. Michael enjoys drawing and painting in his spare time. After thirty-eight years carrying a torch, Michael was reunited with his grade-school sweetheart in 2006. He and Colleen have been together in love since and plan to spend their remaining years laughing, holding hands, and watching the sunset over the Gulf.
